SUMMARY

We are looking for a highly skilled AutoCAD Drafter with expertise in solar, electrical, and structural drafting. The role involves creating detailed designs and plans for solar installations and related systems, ensuring compliance with safety and structural standards. Candidates with additional skills that enhance workflow and team efficiency are highly valued.
While AutoCAD is the primary tool, we are open to candidates proficient in alternative drafting software, provided they can integrate effectively into the project workflow.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaborate with engineers, designers, and clients to develop solar, electrical, and structural designs.
Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD models for solar installation layouts, electrical schematics, and structural frameworks.
Prepare initial drafts for client review and incorporate feedback into revisions.
Ensure all designs meet safety, electrical, and structural compliance standards.
Develop and finalize construction-ready drawings, including rooftop layouts, panel configurations, wiring diagrams, and mounting details.
Provide perspectives for construction enhancements and adapt plans based on site-specific requirements.
Work closely with project teams to resolve design issues and ensure feasibility.
Generate reports, documentation, and material specifications for project deliverables.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Proficiency in AutoCAD and experience with solar, electrical, and structural drafting.
Strong knowledge of solar installation systems, electrical codes, and structural requirements.
Experience creating single-line diagrams, electrical schematics, and structural plans.
Ability to analyze technical specifications and translate them into practical designs.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Knowledge of other CAD software and tools is a plus (e.g., Revit, SketchUp, or SolidWorks).
